The Olympic Library officially opened on January 5, 2022. It now houses more than 2,000 sports-themed Chinese books, nearly 1,000 foreign-language Olympics-themed books, 3 million e-books, more than 500,000 episodes of audiobooks, tens of thousands of electronic newspapers and periodicals, and high-quality digital resources such as "Digital Winter Olympics". The Olympic Library is a member of the 425 member libraries of the one-card service system of the Beijing Public Library, not only allowing users to borrow and return books from any of the 395 member libraries with remote borrowing and returning services, but also with the on-call service for borrowed books from the Capital Library of China and 14 county libraries available.
