Located on Dashilar Commercial Street, the museum is around 960 square meters in size. It is built upon the former business site of Refosian, a major historical and cultural site protected at the national level of China. This museum features four core functional areas, namely "Origins and Heritage" (祥祉溯源), "Chinese-Style Experience" (国风体验), "Custom Couture" (华服定制), and "Silk Elegance Exhibition and Sales" (丝韵展卖), along with two connecting areas—"Tea Art Salon" (茗香雅集) and "Atrium Courtyard" (中庭天井). Visitors can not only admire over 100 silk-related artifacts dating from the Qing Dynasty to the present day, but also learn about making frog buttons. Unique silk-based cultural souvenirs are available at the intangible cultural heritage handicraft workshop and the tea lounge. The museum offers a journey into the history of Refosian, a time-honored Chinese brand, allowing visitors to see for themselves the evolution of silk culture and craftsmanship.
