Ice Sports Center, Tsinghua University

Tsinghua  University's Ice Sports Center, located on the B2 floor of the North  Gymnasium, is a comprehensive space meeting IOC standards, which can  hold 160 people simultaneously for various ice sports.

This  venue is Beijing's only ice sports facility that can serve all Winter  Olympic ice sports (short-track speed skating, figure skating, curling,  and ice hockey) except for long-track speed skating, with its ice  surface marked by ice hockey and curling lines.

Beijing  Sport University's Ice Sports Center was constructed in accordance with  standards for international competitions, with a 1,800-square-meter  standard ice rink, two curling tracks that meet international standards,  a fully functional space, and ideal training equipment.

CUPE Skating Rink

The  two sub-venues of the CUPE Skating Rink, one in the north and one in  the south, have Olympic-caliber ice hockey rinks. Two 1,800-square-meter  standard skating rinks are available for short-track speed skating,  figure skating, ice hockey and other ice sports.

In addition to these ice sports venues, outdoor ice rinks in some universities are also ready to open to the public.

Weiming Lake Ice Rink, Peking University

Weiming Lake, the largest artificial lake in the campus, is one of the landmark attractions of Peking University.

Peking  University's official Weibo account announced on January 5 that Weiming  Lake Ice Rink was ready and would be accessible to the public once the  temperature dropped further.
 
Minghu Ice Rink, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture

Minghu  Ice Rink offers single-person ice sleds, double-person ice sleds, ice  skates and ice canes. It is situated to the north of the library of  Daxing Campus of the university.

The opening time for this year's ice skating season at Minghu Ice Rink has not yet been officially confirmed. Stay updated!

Tips for Skating in Winter

Please make sure you choose an accredited ice rink and skate safely.
Please choose a suitable time. It is recommended to skate from 7:00 to 10:30 and from 15:00 to 18:00.
Please  warm up before skating. It is strongly recommended to wear wrist guards  and knee protectors for added protection when skating.
