On October 24, press conference for the 2024 Beike Beijing Marathon & National Marathon Championship (3rd stop) was held. The race, which consists of two sub-events: marathon and the National Marathon Championship, is scheduled to start on November 3. It will attract 30,000 participants, including amateur runners, athletes from the National Marathon Championship, and other invited participants.

The registration for this year's Beijing Marathon started at 11:00 on October 2. A total of 182,949 runners from 43 countries and regions around the world signed up for the race in three days, setting a historical high for the number of registrations. The race will retain the classic route, starting at Tian'anmen Square and finishing at the central area of the Olympic Park on the Landscape Avenue.
