With Children's Day here, Beijing has unveiled 10 child-friendly travel routes designed around cultural heritage, science exploration, and more. These specially curated routes encourage children to explore the city from their own perspectives.

"Explore the City, Discover the Future" Themed Routes

Route 1: "Little Planners" Along the Beijing Central Axis

Stops: Dashilar Child-Friendly Block - Xiannongtan (Altar of Agriculture) - Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center - Qianmen Street - Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall - Shichahai Cultural Exhibition Center - Bell and Drum Towers

Recommended ages: 6+

Route 2: "Little Gardeners" of the Hutongs in the Imperial City

Stops: Weijing Garden of Jingshan Subdistrict's Child-Friendly Block and - Meihousishi Jingshan Civic Cultural Center - Jiaolou Library

Recommended ages: 5-12

Route 3: "Little Inventors" of Zhongguancun

Stops: "Colorful School Path" of Zhongguancun Subdistrict's Child-Friendly Block - Scientific and Cultural Block of Zhongguancun Participatory Innovation - China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People

Recommended ages: 4-15 (depending on activities)

Route 4: "Young Scientific Explorers" Looking to the Stars

Stops: Beijing Planetarium - China Science and Technology Museum - China Scientists Museum

Recommended ages: 5-12

Route 5: "Nature Discoverers" in the Urban Oasis

Stops: Olympic Forest Park - China National Botanical Garden - Nanhaizi Park (Milu Deer Park) - Beijing Wenyuhe Park

Route 6: Little Ecological Observers by the Grand Canal

Stops: Central Green Forest Park - Grand Canal Museum of Beijing - Children's Library of Beijing Library - Grand Canal Forest Park

Route 8: "Little Olympic Champions" on the Ice Ribbon

Route 9: "Little Farmers" in the Countryside of Beijing

Route 10: Young Inheritors Following Revolutionary Footprints
