Dianping released its 2025 "Must-Visit Spots List" and "Season's Must-Try Experience List" recently. With 17 attractions enlisted, Beijing shares the top spot with Shanghai, making it one of the most-listed cities in China for the "Must-Visit Spots List", which focuses on the first experience in various city destinations.

Beijing also tops the list for cultural attractions, with six spots featured. Historical landmarks and exhibition halls are the two top categories, making up 70 percent of the list. Attractions such as the Summer Palace, the Lama Temple, the Palace Museum, and the National Museum of China have consistently been included, remaining popular among platform users seeking "in-depth cultural travel." In the spring "Season's Must-Try Experience List", Beijing's Lingshan hiking trail is highlighted as a top destination for locals and visitors looking for a spring getaway.
