The Thematic Exhibition of Supply Chain and Business Services of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) commenced at Hall 14 of Shougang Park in Beijing on September 12 and will run until September 16. Three new BEIJING PASS cards, themed "Ink Great Wall", "Beijing-Style Temple of Heaven", and "Colorful China", are displayed at the Yikatong (One Card All Pass) exhibition area. Other upcoming creative varieties featuring folding fans, knot buttons, and giant panda dolls are also on display.
BEIJING PASS cards are produced by Beijing Municipal Administration and Communication Card Co., Ltd. to help foreign tourists visiting China make payments more conveniently and meet their needs for a more comprehensive cultural and tourism experience. Starting on July 31, they can be purchased at 15 venues including Beijing’s airports, train stations, and rail transit stations.
The three new cards can be used nationwide to meet travellers' diverse needs. Each card has a variety of options and can be purchased easily and topped up in different ways. These cards create a seamless "ONE CARD ALL PASS" payment experience by tying together various scenarios, including shopping at malls and supermarkets, cultural tourism, and transportation, among others.
Sold at a price of CNY 20, a standard BEIJING PASS can be topped up offline via the manned service windows and self-service facilities of Beijing's rail transit system, or online through the "SilkPass" App. The cards can be used for accessing Beijing's rail transit system, buses, trams, suburban railways, airport expresses, and cruising taxis, as well as the public transportation systems of more than 300 cities across China. Additionally, they can be used to buy tickets at 30 popular parks and scenic areas including the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace, and purchase goods at 20 retailers including Xidan Department Store and Watsons.
