Recently, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism launched ten themed routes featuring industrial tourism. These routes encompass a variety of industrial tourism attractions and historical and cultural resources, enabling visitors to have a better understanding of Beijing's history and culture, and to enjoy relaxing trips. Among all the ten routes, one themed route showcasing industrial aesthetics is in Shijingshan District.

New Shougang Bridge
The New Shougang Bridge is a landmark full of industrial features. As an Internet-popular tourist spot, this bridge offers a wide field of vision for photo-taking. Standing on the bridge, you can see Dingdu Pavilion on a mountain far away to the west and Chang'an Avenue on the east. You can also have a clear view of Yongding Tower situated in Beijing Garden Expo Park, which is located to the south, and Shougang Park and Big Air Shougang which can be spotted to the north. Shougang Park is renowned for its profound industrial culture. The industrial buildings there are well preserved and integrate modern designs, showing the harmonious coexistence of nature and modern science and technology.

Big Air Shougang, as the first permanent venue in the downtown area, which combines industrial features with modern sports elements, showcases the charm of science and technology in Shougang Park and gives more impetus to its development. Standing on the New Shougang Bridge in the evening, you will have a spectacular view of the big air which looks like a glass slipper left by Cinderella after being illuminated at night.
