The 2026 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference recently opened at the Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing E-Town. The event will run through October 24.

This year's exhibition covers more than 50,000 square meters with nine exhibition zones. It is being held in the newly opened indoor Hall C, as well as Halls B1 and B2, along with all outdoor exhibition areas of the Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center. A total of 327 renowned automakers, leading component manufacturers, and institutions from China and abroad are participating in the event.

For the first time, the exhibition introduces a dedicated zone for embodied intelligence and its ecosystem. Products from companies such as AGIBOT, Beijing E-Town Robotics Technology Industry Development Co., Ltd., and X-Humanoid are on display, performing tasks such as entertainment shows, tour guiding, and material handling. This offers visitors a firsthand look at the transformative impact of AI on product capabilities and user experiences. 

The zone also features a range of real-world application scenarios, showcasing innovative products such as dancing robots, robotic coffee machines, and robotic ice cream makers. These demonstrations illustrate how embodied intelligence technologies are being applied in different settings and highlight their future potential.

The "Smart Lifestyle" AI + Automotive Lifestyle Market and Consumption Week offers a leisure and shopping experience in-between the exhibition halls, bringing together automotive products, automotive-branded merchandise, souvenirs, specialty food and beverages, trendy entertainment, and interactive activities. It aims to make the exhibition experience more relaxed and welcoming for industry professionals, the general public, and young students on educational visits.

Meanwhile, the 94th China International Medical Equipment Fair and its associated exhibitions recently opened at the Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center and will run through October 24.

Here, crowds have gathered around displays of medical imaging devices, surgical robots, rehabilitation aids, and smart healthcare technologies. Staff members demonstrate how the equipment works while answering visitors' questions. Additionally, interactive displays in specialized zones for rehabilitation and care of the elderly, home healthcare, emergency rescue, pet health, and medical aesthetics have captured plenty of attention from visitors.

Shunyi District has also launched the 2026 Healthy Consumption Festival under the theme "Enjoy Life in Shunyi" (品顺义・乐生活), bringing local products to the exhibition venue. A selection of products featured under the "Shunyi Gifts" initiative is on display, including Yanjing Beer, Wang Xiaolu (王小卤) prepared food, Shunxin Together beverages, and Euro Bakery (金马欧兰) bread. The products have drawn visitors to sample them and make inquiries to learn more.
