With summer now in full swing, there is a host of exciting events in Beijing to make your summer vacation a blast. Hurry up, make plans and share the news with your friends!
Natural History Museum of China

The museum has launched "Dinosaur Park: Escape from the Jaws"—China's first 6D immersive exhibition. Visitors can immerse themselves in a journey through Cretaceous-era jungles, observe baby dinosaurs up close, come face-to-face with a mechanical Tyrannosaurus rex, and experience scenes across different seasons. The exhibition features moving mechanical creatures, naked-eye 3D imaging, full-CG cinematic-quality effects, and multi-sensory experiences like mist, wind, vibrations, and sound effects—ideal for adventure enthusiasts.
Universal Beijing Resort

The iconic summer campaign "Universal Cool Summer" is back and will run until August 16. You can dance to the tunes of classic bands while reveling amid refreshing water sprays. The campaign offers different viewing areas, including the "Soaked Zone" for full-on fun, the "Splash Zone" for a more relaxed viewing experience, and the "Dry Zone". Body dryers are available on-site for your convenience. Several limited-time activities have also been planned:
1. Luo Tianyi's 14th anniversary concert on July 12 will feature a brand-new birthday song and special versions of her classic hits;
2. Meet Dolores, the iconic Aquilops from the movie "Jurassic World: Rebirth";
3. Enjoy a variety of refreshing specialty drinks and limited-edition desserts to capture the essence of a cool summer.
"Beijing Core: Unbound" Acrobatic Show

The China National Acrobatic Troupe's indoor spectacle, "Beijing Core: Unbound", has come to the Mobile Theater (移动剧院) next to the Big Air Shougang. The show will continue until October 25, spanning multiple holidays like the summer vacation, the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday (September 25–27), and the National Day holiday (October 1–7). The performance integrates high-difficulty acrobatics with contemporary music and immersive light shows, creating a fusion of industrial aesthetics and avant-garde artistry.
