The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, in partnership with Keep (an app for tracking fitness data), has just unveiled an exclusive collectible medal for the city's tourism and leisure greenways.

At the beginning of 2026, the bureau launched 52 meticulously designed tourism and leisure greenways (See more details), along with the city's departments of landscaping, water resources, and sports, as well as district governments.

To encourage more people to explore these scenic trails, the bureau collaborated with Keep app to launch the "Stroll the Greenways and Explore Beijing" (漫步绿道 畅游北京) campaign. As of early June, the campaign had recorded 360,400 registrations and 2.01 million visits.
