The Mutianyu Great Wall will reintroduce its night tour today (April 30) with exciting new experiences, which will remain open until May 4.
Through the night tour, visitors can enjoy a wide range of on-site activities. Live acoustic performances, together with beer and fried skewer stalls, will create a lively holiday atmosphere. Laser shows, nighttime sightseeing, and interactive light displays will bring countless surprises. Unlimited cable car rides allow visitors to marvel at the breathtaking sunset, while robot shows, performances by China-chic bands, and traditional Chinese army parades will add even more excitement. The scenic area will also launch a special educational program at night where professional instructors will introduce the culture and history of the Great Wall, allowing children to learn while having fun under the starry skies.
The gift shops will offer a variety of creative products inspired by the history of the Great Wall and the elegant charm of suburban Beijing. During the Labor Day holiday, any visitor who spends 169 yuan or more will receive a kite-shaped fridge magnet or a Great Wall-themed ruler as a gift. During the night tour, visitors purchasing fridge magnets will enjoy a 20-percent discount.

For foodies, the Mutianyu Great Wall Hotel offers three signature dishes: Grilled Rainbow Trout, Braised Pork with Chestnuts, and Stewed Countryside Chicken with Mushrooms. Yisonglou (翼松楼) Restaurant serves a 188-yuan "Great Wall Summit Hero" (长城登顶好汉) set menu for two. After a night tour, visitors can stay at the Mutianyu Great Wall Hotel and relax beneath the stars, surrounded by the illuminated Great Wall.
