The "Sailing Along the Canal" waterscape poetic and music performance project ("运上行"水景诗乐项目) will be officially launched this Saturday (April 25). The cruise runs along the Daguang Tower-Yuntong Bridge section of the Beijing Grand Canal Cultural Scenic Area in Tongzhou, stretching 3.5 kilometers in total. Centered on the Grand Canal's culture and the heritage of traditional canal transportation (known as "caoyun"), the project features unique themed cruise vessels and live performances. By integrating onboard shows with real-life waterfront settings, it offers every passenger an immersive live performance experience lasting about 50 minutes.
