As the weather warms up, it's the perfect time to enjoy a boat ride in Beijing. Here are some recommended boat trips:

Boating at Yuyuantan Park officially resumes today (March 14). The park has a total of four boat piers located on the north and south shores of the East Lake and West Lake respectively, making it easy for visitors to find a boat.

Boats operate daily from 8:30 to 17:30.

The Liangma River International Scenic Waterfront will reopen cruise trips on March 15. The night cruises are scheduled to depart from SOLANA Dock, followed by a 40-minute loop. The operator is offering early bird tickets at 35 yuan for daytime cruises and 90 yuan for evening cruises — nearly half the regular prices (50 yuan for daytime, 180 yuan for evening).

The Imperial Waterway also reopens today. This Qing Dynasty waterway runs from Beijing Zoo Dock to the Summer Palace, with a one-hour one-way journey priced at 120 yuan. Visitors can enter the Summer Palace directly from the waterway.

Daytime cruises on the Beijing section of the Grand Canal have already resumed, running from Dock No. 2 to the Caoyun Dock. The 12-kilometer journey passes through the Grand Canal Cultural Plaza and Grand Canal Olympic Park, with adult tickets priced at 75 yuan.

The 15-kilometer Ba River cruise route is currently in its trial operation phase. Once officially launched, visitors will be able to travel by boat all the way to the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, enjoying a continuous stretch of natural and ecological scenery along the way.
