With the arrival of spring in Beijing, accompanied by warmer weather, the spectacle of peach blossoms reflected in water has returned as expected. Recently, the Chinese wild peach blossoms along the Erdaogou River in Shilipu, Chaoyang District have begun to bloom, creating a "pink flower corridor" stretching about 100 meters. Mirrored beautifully in the water, these flowers attract numerous visitors to admire them and take photos.

The peach blossoms here began to bloom in early to mid-March and will peak from mid to late March, with a flowering period of about seven to ten days.

Location: Peach Blossom Stream of Shilipu

There are several other popular spots where you can capture the beauty of Chinese wild peach blossoms, and none of them shall be missed!

West Dike of the Summer Palace

Over 100 peach trees line both sides of the West Dike, making it one of the must-visit Spring destinations in Beijing. The viewing period is expected to last until late March.

Taoranting Park

The peach blossoms are already in full bloom, with the flowering period expected to last until mid-to-late March.

Recommended viewing spots: Science Education Cabin, the area to the east of Shengchunshanfang Scenic Area, and the Tomb of Martyr Gao Junyu. 

Beihai Park

The Chinese wild peach blossoms have begun to bloom.

Photo tip: Under the railing west of the White Pagoda area, try a pose looking back from the steps leading to the pagoda.

Beijing Garden Expo Park

The Chinese wild peach blossoms here are now in bud. Recently, the park launched the "For a Greener Future: Chinese Wild Peach Adoption" (绿动未来·山桃认养) program. From 9:30 to 11:00 on March 21, each visitor can adopt a Chinese wild peach tree and name it.

Baiwangshan Forest Park

Most of the Chinese wild peach blossoms are budding, with some already in full bloom.

Viewing period: Mid-to-late March

Recommended routes: Trail No. 351, Road No. 3, and Road No. 5

Western Hills National Forest Park

A few days from now will be the best time to enjoy the view known as "Snow under the Sun on the Western Hills" (西山晴雪). At that time, the flowers will be in full bloom, with white and pink colors complementing each other.

Flowering period: Early to late March

China National Botanical Garden (North Garden)

Housing the largest number of ornamental peach varieties in the world, the China National Botanical Garden has a garden featuring over 70 varieties of peach blossoms.

Viewing period: From mid-to-late March to early May

Recommended viewing spots: Chinese Wild Peach Blossom Stream, Peach Blossom Pavilion, Peach Blossom Boulevard to the northwest of the Education Center, and around the lake.

Olympic Forest Park

The Peach Blossom Gully is one of the hidden gems of its north zone. The Chinese wild peach blossoms here bloom every year in mid-to-late March.

Yuanmingyuan Ruins Park

The park has a wide variety of peach blossoms in colors from light pink and deep red to snow white.

Viewing period: Mid-to-late March

Fragrant Hills Park (Xiangshan Park)

Currently, the Chinese wild peach blossoms are budding, awaiting visitors.

Juyongguan Great Wall

At the No. 3 and the No. 4 beacon towers of the Juyongguan Great Wall and the wooden plank viewing platform in Juyongguan Village, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the S2 Line trains passing through the sea of flowers.
