The 27th Pinggu International Peach Blossom Festival will open on April 10 and run through May 5. During the festival, Pinggu District will host a variety of events. It is reported that the optimal viewing period for Pinggu's peach blossoms will gradually start from April 5.

On April 19, Yongle Fair, themed around the urban culture during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), will open by Jinhai Lake, featuring over 300 stalls selling food products deriving from intangible cultural heritage items and creative products from 32 provinces and municipalities across China. Visitors may also dress in traditional hanfu (traditional clothing of the Han ethnic group) and participate in interactive performances.

From April 25 to 27, the Food Live E-commerce Product Selection Conference and Peach Blossom Food Consumption Season will be held at Jinhai Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center, presenting high-quality products and innovation achievements from various regions.

On April 26, the Beijing Fitness-for-All Hiking Event will commence at the Pinggu Sports Center, followed by a variety of other public sports events such as a flatland marathon, a cycling challenge, and a mountain cross-country race.

An e-sports challenge featuring "Honor of Kings" (a Chinese mobile game) will be launched in the 10,000-mu (about 6.7 square kilometers) peach forest of the district. Mobile game players can register via the official mini-programs "Gaodashang Pinggu" (高大尚平谷) and "Wenlv Pinggu" (文旅平谷) to participate.

Additionally, diplomatic envoys in China will later be invited to visit Pinggu, while many other events including the 1st Wanda Plaza Peach Blossom Festival Consumption Season, and the Jinhai Lake Camping Culture Consumption Season will also be held in the district.

During the festival, Pinggu will launch three themed tourist routes: the "Flower Viewing and Water Recreation Leisure Tour" centered around Jinhai Lake, the "Flower Viewing and Art Leisure Tour" blending art with natural scenery, and the "Flower Viewing and Cultural Leisure Tour" integrating cultural heritage with natural landscapes. To ease traffic flow, the district has opened a dedicated tourist line from Liuliqiao to Pinggu, connecting popular attractions such as Jinhai Lake, Yaji Mountain, and Lishugou. Pinggu will also distribute 100,000 "Coupons for Cultural Tourism", allowing visitors to enjoy discounted tickets or discounts after spending certain amounts at Jinhai Lake, Jingdong Karst Cave, Jingdong Grand Canyon, Yongle Fair, and other places.
