Yudaokou Grassland and Forest Scenic Area
Yudaokou Grassland and Forest Scenic Area is located in the Bashang region of northwestern Chengde, Hebei Province, featuring 700,000 mu (1 mu equals roughly 666.67 square meters) of pristine grassland and 200,000 mu of wetland. From mid-June to late August, layers of white clouds drift above the boundless green prairie there.

Fengning Bashang Grassland
Fengning Bashang Grassland, located in the northwest of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Hebei Province, is a paradise for professional and amateur photographers. In July, the average temperature here hovers around 24℃.
Here, you can go to Tianma Aviation Town to soar through the blue sky by a light plane, powered paraglider, or hot-air balloon. Don't forget the Colorful Forest where you can experience the distinctive Manchu culture of Fengning.
Zhongdu Grassland, Zhangbei
Zhongdu Grassland, located within Zhangbei County of Zhangjiakou City, is an area of expansive wilderness with verdant, primitive grass, close to Beijing with a low latitude.
Zhongdu Primitive Grassland Resort, situated at an altitude of over 1,400 meters with pastures totaling more than 200,000 mu, features multi-colored yurts dotting the landscape.
From July 25 to 27, the local grassland festival for 2025 will kick off with passion, letting you experience the prairie's charm in the rhythm of music.
Grass Skyline
The Grass Skyline, located in the northern part of Zhangjiakou City, stretches approximately 324 kilometers. Driving on this highway, you can find wind turbines standing densely along it. This undulating highway is known for spectacularly rugged landscapes comprising high mountains and steep slopes. Driving along this highway also allows you to fully appreciate the vastness and magnificence of the prairie nearby.
Ulan Butong Prairie
Ulan Butong Prairie, once part of an imperial hunting ground during the Qing Dynasty, integrates a forest, a prairie, lakes, sandy land and wetland. Wind through the scenic area on a car, and you will find the boundless prairie unfolds before your eyes, evoking refreshed and relaxed feelings.
