On March 22, the 3rd China-chic Carnival will kick off at the Beijing Garden Expo Park, offering visitors a feast of seasonal colors, fun and fashion! Dozens of exciting activities including a spring market will help you explore spring at this park in 100 ways.

Location: Area between Gates 5 and 6 of the Beijing Garden Expo Park

Opening hours: 7:30 to 18:00, with the last entry at 16:30 (Enter via Gate 5 and Gate 6)

During the Carnival, the Chinese wild peach blossoms will be in their peak season at the Peach Blossom Valley (桃花谷). Whether you want to take photos or just wear traditional hanfu dress to explore the park, you'll be enchanted by the splendid scenery exclusive to this season. There will also be staff members dressed like "Flower Goddesses" in beautiful hanfu and with exquisite makeups, who will parade and dance near Gate 5 and Yongding Tower (永定塔) on the Eagle Mountain (鹰山).

During the event, Yongding Tower will be open to the public for the first time. The exhibition hall on its first floor will serve as the venue for the culture exhibition of the Yongding River, while the ninth-floor vantage point offers a breathtaking view of the Peach Blossom Valley, the park, and the entire region on the west of the Yongding River. In addition, the camping area near the Chinese Rose Garden (月季园) at Gate 5 will offer a series of exciting activities, including outdoor educational trips, reptile pets interactions, tent camping, and lawn concerts. The market stretching from Gate 5 to the foot of the Eagle Mountain will feature over 40 well-known dining brands, traditional foods such as Beijing-style chatang (seasoned flour mush) and Tianjin's Goubuli stuffed steamed buns, along with various stands selling creative cultural handmade products.
