The "Artistic Park and Beautiful Life - Beijing Park Art Season 2024" was launched to continuously enrich the events of Beijing's municipal parks, and optimize the visit experience during the summer vacation. The major municipal parks of Beijing will hold over 30 cultural and artistic events including art exhibitions, performances, forums, and intangible cultural heritage experiences, to provide citizens and tourists with a colorful park culture and arts feast.

At the Painted Boat Studio (Hua Fang Zhai) of Beihai Park, the calligraphy and painting exhibition of "Great Master of Beijing School" kicked off. The representative paintings of Master Qi Gong were selected for the exhibition to display the Beijing School painting art.

The "Spirit and Virtue - Invitational Exhibition of Chinese Oil Painting Masters" is launched inside the Chanfu Temple of Beihai Park.

In Zizhuyuan Park, 44 pieces of works from 22 modern Chinese painting masters are on display in the "Immersed in Ink - Modern Chinese Freehand Brush Painting Exhibition".

Jingshan Park held a bonsai art exhibition, as well as a joint exhibition featuring bonsai from Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei. The "New Splendor of Traditional Treasure in the Forbidden City - Cloisonné Enamel Painting Exhibition".

The first Beijing Park Art Season coincides with summer vacation, during which the municipal parks of Beijing, and ancient yards, parks and museums affiliated to China Garden Museum are fully open without closure on Mondays. Some of the parks will offer markets and night hours, launching special night events with immersive tours, music performances and folk custom experiences, adding highlights and vitality to Beijing on summer nights.
