Spring is a time when everything comes back to life, and flowers bloom abundantly. On March 30, the Second Mutianyu Spring Flower Festival and the 2024 Huairou District Great Wall Cultural Festival kicked off. Visitors can reach new heights, go on excursions, and enjoy the vibrant display of flowers at this fantastic location for weekend leisure and pleasure.

Tourists can expect surprises from the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area during the Spring Flower Festival. Visitors dressed in Hanfu, or traditional Chinese costumes could access the park for free from 30 March to 30 April if they share photos of themselves with the main entrance on social media.

Under the theme of "Ancient Chinese Style, Blooming Flowers in Mutianyu", the festival features a fair, lively performances, fresh spring products, and artistic and cultural items. Over 20 highly represented regional time-honored brands will be invited to the event from 30 March to 31 March. 

During the festival, visitors who spend at least CNY 168 in cultural and creative stores can get a postcard with colored stamps as a gift. First come, first served, until all cards are delivered.

In addition to breathtaking views and thrilling activities, there will be delectable food. The Great Wall Hotel's spring seasonal menu items, such as the shrimp spring roll, pea flour cake, Chinese toon with water chestnut, and sweet green rice ball, all capture the essence of springtime.
