Beijing Language and Culture University Hosts Its 21st World Culture Festival

On April 25, Beijing Language and Culture University hosted its 21st World Culture Festival. This year's festival attracted over 50,000 participants from over 100 countries and regions, including faculty members, students, and alumni, as well as international visitors and invited guests.

In the performance area, students from around the world presented instrumental performances, dance, and traditional arts, dazzling the audience with a wide variety of art forms. Over 100 cultural booths were set up across the exhibition area for five continents, showcasing Asian porcelain, European oil paintings, African drumming and more. Distinctive cultural treasures of different countries together made up a brilliant exhibition. In the exhibition area for Chinese culture, visitors learned about heritage items such as Tai Chi, calligraphy, tea culture and embroidery, experiencing the depth and warmth of Chinese civilization first-hand. The food zone was alive with aromas from across the globe. From exquisite desserts to handmade noodles and specialty beverages,  the offerings created a feast for the senses, turning this cultural exchange into a vibrant and memorable culinary journey.

During the festival, the Hainan International Student College, three overseas campuses, and 29 Confucius Institutes and Classrooms of BLCU also held a wide range of distinctive celebrations
