On October 26, the 2025 Indonesia "Study Beijing" Education Exhibition & HSK Study in China Education and Career Expo grandly opened in Jakarta. Jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing International Education Exchange Center, Chinese Testing International, and the Jakarta Mandarin Education Coordinator, the event not only showcased high-quality higher education and vocational education resources from Beijing but also brought together leading "Double First-Class" universities from various provinces and cities across China, attracting over 2,800 Chinese language learners and parents from Indonesia to attend and seek information.

Participating institutions included Peking University, Beijing Normal University, China Agricultural University, Beijing Jiaotong University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Communication University of China, North China Electric Power University, Minzu University of China, North China University of Technology, Beijing Technology and Business University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Capital Medical University, Beijing Vocational University of Science and Technology, and Beijing College of Finance and Commerce, among others. Enterprises such as Bank of China also joined the event, collectively providing Indonesian students with the latest information and opportunities for studying in China and career development.

At the opening ceremony, Chen Wu, Education Counsellor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Indonesia, delivered a speech. He noted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia. Bilateral relations have been developing at a high level under the guidance of head-of-state diplomacy, with continuous deepening of cooperation across various fields and fruitful achievements in cultural and educational exchanges. Qiu Yulu, Head of the Beijing Education Delegation and Deputy Director of the Beijing International Education Exchange Center, introduced Beijing's high-quality educational resources and extended a sincere invitation to Indonesian teachers, students, and parents, welcoming them to study in Beijing and deeply experience the city's unique blend of historical richness and modern vitality. Arifin Zain, Executive Chairman of the Board of Mandarin Education Coordinator, expressed his expectation to work hand-in-hand with all parties to pave the way for Indonesian students in both studying abroad and career development, cultivating more outstanding talents who are well-versed in both cultures and possess an international perspective, thereby contributing to the prosperity of both nations and the harmonious progress of the world. Huang Lei, Deputy General Manager of Chinese Testing International, stated that Chinese language education and the HSK test not only enable students to enter and understand China but also create more opportunities for their future development. Sun Shangbin, President of Bank of China Jakarta Branch, emphasized that the exhibition, with language as the medium, education as the bridge, and employment as the orientation, provides vast opportunities for Indonesian students in learning, internships, employment, and entrepreneurship. Jasmine, a representative of international students, shared her connection with China, passing on her passion for the Chinese language and culture to more Indonesian students.

During the education exhibition, multiple cooperation agreements were reached between Chinese and Indonesian institutions, with on-site unveiling and signing ceremonies. Bina Bangsa School was officially designated as a "Global Student Recruitment Base of Beijing" and signed the student recruitment base agreements with Beijing Jiaotong University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing Foreign Studies University, North China University of Technology, Beijing Technology and Business University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Beijing College of Finance and Commerce.

At this overseas specialized education exhibition, 16 renowned Chinese higher education institutions including Peking University were prominently featured as core highlights. The event attracted outstanding students from Indonesia University, Ricci School, Pah Tsung School, and other institutions, along with many Indonesian students and family members who made special visits. The exhibition maintained a vibrant yet orderly atmosphere, with continuous streams of students consulting at various university booths, fully demonstrating the strong anticipation and aspiration of Indonesian students for studying in Beijing.
