The 2024 Youth Elite Internship Program focuses on the digital economy, digital healthcare, and the cultural industry. It will arrange 75 young people to visit multinational corporations, regional headquarters and promising startups in Chaoyang District from July 29 to August 9. The aim of the Program is to better acquaint young people with industry trends and corporate development and boost their personal and career development.

This Program is free of charge. Participants will be responsible for arranging their own accommodations, meals, and transportation during the event.
Participant Requirements:
1. Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a world-renowned university, with preference given to master's and doctoral students. Open to students of all nationalities.
2. No requirement for the field of study, with preference given to those studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Medicine, Economics, Management, or any related field.
3. Those showing an interest in cutting-edge technologies, AI, the digital economy, digital healthcare, and businesses related to culture, and a desire to acquire a better understanding of these subjects.
4. Full attendance is mandatory during internship.
5. Strong initiative, a proactive learning attitude, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in both Chinese and English (courses primarily in Chinese).
Additional Considerations:
Experience or skills in areas beyond one's academic specialization. For example, the abilities of organizing cultural or sports activities, video production and editing, or social media promotion are a plus.
Previous Youth Elite Internship Programs
The Youth Elite Internship Program is hosted by the Chaoyang District Talent Development Bureau. It will include general courses and specialized lessons offering opportunities for participants to communicate with industry experts through in-person visits, training, case study, practical exercises, and research projects. It will feature visits to over 20 renowned enterprises including Deloitte China and HSBC.
