On October 18, Peking University kicked off its 22nd International Cultural Festival, featuring 20 sub-events across four sections, namely "Listening to the Voices of the World", "Enjoying the Diversity of the World", "Appreciating the Charm of the World", and "Experiencing World Civilizations".
The event's themed fair featured 51 booths representing 47 countries, offering students and faculty an immersive experience of diverse cultures and traditions. Young participants from over 30 different countries and regions all took to the stage with some vibrant performances, including dances, songs, martial arts, and performances using traditional music instruments. The festival also featured several amazing cultural sub-events, including a themed photography exhibition, an international food fair, an exhibition on the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage, and an international handicraft workshop.
