Since 2024, Beijing has launched a demonstration program for the "Robotics + Landscaping" application scenario and established the city's first Garden Robot Workstation at Yuyuantan Park. Currently, 13 robots and smart devices are deployed here. They form an intelligent network that covers both land and water, and perform tasks such as cleaning, rescue, plant protection, monitoring, and guided tours.
Beijing has entered a phase of large-scale promotion of garden robots this year, with plans to introduce them to 14 municipal parks through an equipment leasing model. The robots will serve six application scenarios: cleaning and sweeping, landscaping, ecological monitoring, smart inspections, visitor guidance, and water rescue. Looking ahead, the use of robots will be gradually expanded to all parks across the city based on actual needs.
