After a comprehensive renovation, Xihui Leisure Park in Beijing's Guanzhuang area has reopened, unveiling a 170,000-square-meter green corridor full of healing elements. The park features a 2-kilometer circular trail and six scenic highlights, seamlessly blending the landscape of the Tonghui River with the surrounding urban scenery.

Inside the park, 44,255 square meters of plants — including saucer magnolia (Magnolia × soulangeana) and yellowhorn (Xanthoceras sorbifolium) — have been carefully planted to create a garden-like landscape that changes beautifully with the seasons.

A 2-kilometer circular fitness trail runs through the park, with clearly divided lanes for walking and jogging. Along the route, benches and street lamps offer comfort and convenience, making the park equally suited for quick strolls and leisure.

Looking for something special? The park has six unique scenic spots that make every step worth it!

Terrace Square

Entering from the park's north side, visitors are greeted by the Terrace Square, a stepped area with 35 levels that offers an inviting entrance into the park.

Paulownia Flower Square

Once an old stone-paved path, the Paulownia Flower Square now features a smooth circular stone centerpiece, serving as a space for exercise, ball games, and casual gatherings.

Observation Deck

Constructed from red steel, the 28-square-meter Observation Deck stands out for its modern design. Its comfortable bench invites visitors to enjoy a panoramic view or take a break.

Woniu Feixing Playground

The playground creatively reuses dead trees, fallen branches, and old tires to form eco-friendly installations such as benches, a climber, swings, and stair-like seats.

Chinese Ash Tree Square

The renovated square preserves 16 mature Chinese ash trees, surrounded by newly paved grounds, creating a space that harmoniously blends nature and art.

Oriental Plane Tree Maze

This maze-like grove of Oriental plane trees features zigzag paths lined with benches, offering a quiet retreat.

Take a slow stroll through Xihui Leisure Park and experience the calm beauty and gentle greenery hidden in the heart of Beijing.
