From January to July this year, Beijing's average concentration of PM2.5 was 26.9 micrograms per cubic meter, down 19 percent year-on-year. The city recorded 168 days with good air quality, an increase of 18 days compared to the same period last year.

This year, Beijing has accelerated the promotion of electric vehicles, with the city's EV ownership reaching 1.135 million. The city has deepened green transformation and quality improvement in key industries, adding 669 new green enterprises from January to July, raising the proportion of green enterprises to 28.5 percent. This includes 10 "deep green" enterprises with outstanding green performance in Beijing E-Town and Tongzhou District, setting benchmarks for pollution reduction and carbon emissions.
Moving forward, Beijing will continue to promote the "0.1 microgram" campaign to consolidate its achievements in air quality improvement.
