Air quality monitoring results show that on the fifth day of the first lunar month (February 2, 2025), Beijing's average PM2.5 concentration was 35 micrograms per cubic meter, a 10.3% decrease from the same period last year. The air quality was rated "Grade 1 - Excellent". From 18:00 until midnight, Beijing's hourly PM2.5 concentration remained at an extremely low single-digit level, with an averaging of 6 micrograms per cubic meter, which is at the optimal level for the same period of time in history since there has been monitoring.

As of the fifth day of this year's Spring Festival holiday, Beijing's air quality has remained at a good level for six consecutive days, with no instances of pollution exceeding the standard. The average PM2.5 concentration during this period was 52 micrograms per cubic meter, marking a 16.1% decrease from the same period last year.
