This year, for the very first time, Beijing International Film Festival had eyes set on Russian films, and exhibited 9 Russian films of varying varieties including the theater of the absurd, sci-fi thrillers and documentaries by Станиславский (Stanislavski), who is a legendary theater director. During the film festival, vloggers visited Beijing CGV Cinema and watched the Russian film Человек из Подольска (A Man from Podolsk). "I've never been to a cinema in China before. It's my first time ever and it's for a Russian film at that. I really enjoyed it." said Slava, a Russian vlogger. "I'm surprised that so many Chinese film fans are into Russian films."

The water trickles beneath the bridge. The sight of the pavilion and attic, alleys after alleys lined with stone pavements... As vloggers appreciate the beauty of the water village scenery to the south of the Yangtze River at the State Production Base of China Film Group, it was as if they'd jump back in time. "If I see any actors wearing ancient costumes in here, I'd truly believe I've been warped into a drama series." proclaimed Denis, a Russian vlogger as he visited the Base.
In addition, vloggers witnessed players playing the Glory of Kings in "Game Animation Film Unit" of the 11th Beijing International Film Festival at the State Production Base of China Film Group and learned about the development trend for e-sports-and-film integration down the line.

"Here we can learn about the production principles of early films and experience some tools and small types of machinery that were used during film production." excitedly proclaimed Tamar, a Georgian vlogger who visited the China Film Museum after having witnessed the museum's design. "The museum's design is extraordinarily exquisite, allowing visitors to systematically learn about the history of Chinese films."

What impressed these vloggers more is the China Film Museum's round hall and its circular screen. The circular screen is of a 25-meter-high irregular cylinder shape with a diameter of 36 meters and an area of about 1,800 sqm. A video recording showing the development of Chinese films was played on the circular screen, presenting a sensational and immersive scene of light and shadow display. Vloggers were immensely impressed with it all and couldn't help taking photos. "China National Film Museum has miraculously adapted history with modern technologies." exclaimed Tamar. Moreover, she believes that the magnitude and those filming devices from the museum are obviously proof of China's stress on the film industry.
