Based on the second battle at Lake Changjin during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, The Battle at Lake Changjin tells a magnificent history: 71 years ago, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army headed for the battlefield in Korea. In the extremely cold and harsh conditions, the combat troops at eastern front fight against the enemy all the way with their iron will and great bravery; they reverse the war situation and fully demonstrate the national and military prestige. 

As the opening film of the 11th Beijing International Film Festival, let's enjoy the wonderful preview of The Battle at Lake Changjin. 

The Battle at Lake Changjin is co-directed by Chen Kaige, Tsui Hark and Dante Lam, and Huang Jianxin acts as the general producer and screenwriter. The successful experience of the four elite filmmakers in the field of commercial blockbusters, as well as with the participation of screenwriter Lan Xiaolong, will undoubtedly help this film achieve a perfect result in audiovisual effect and narrative tension.
