On September 12, the Jing Xiong Express, a landmark project in the one-hour metropolitan circle linking Beijing and Xiong'an New Area in Hebei province, officially began full-route trial operations, marking a key step toward through-service between Jing Xiong Express and the Beijing Subway Daxing Airport Express.

The Jing Xiong Express starts at Xiong'an Intercity Station and spans three cities across Beijing and Hebei. It is China's first rapid rail line designed for speeds up to 200 km/h and operated under a bus-style frequent service model. At Beijing Daxing International Airport, it connects with the Beijing Subway Daxing Airport Express, enabling through-service to Caoqiao Station in Beijing. Once Lize Station opens, through-service will extend to Lize.

The Jing Xiong Express combines the speed of long-distance rail with the high-frequency service of urban transit, offering frequent departures and short waiting times. In the future, passengers will be able to travel directly from Xiong'an New Area to Caoqiao Station in Beijing and access the entire Beijing Subway network. With a single ticket or QR code, passengers can make convenient cross-regional transfers.
