According to the Beijing Traffic Management Bureau, the city will adopt new traffic management measures for both local vehicles and non-local passenger vehicles from February 14 to 23 and on February 28, 2026.

I. Local vehicles will be exempt from peak-hour restrictions in designated areas on working days.

II. Non-local passenger vehicles with valid Beijing Entry Permits (for areas within the 6th Ring Road) will be permitted to drive on and within the 5th Ring Road from 7:00 to 9:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00. The restrictions based on the last digits of license plate numbers from 9:00 to 17:00 will also be lifted for such vehicles in these areas. However, these vehicles must still comply with the full-day prohibition on entering roads within the 2nd Ring Road (inclusive) and running on Jianguomen Outer Street, Fuxingmen Outer Street, and Fuxing Road (from Muxidi Bridge to Xinxing Bridge).
