Beijing will implement new traffic restrictions based on even- and odd-numbered license plates from September 30, 2024 to December 29, 2024.

The restrictions will be imposed on all vehicles (including those with temporary license plates; except for EV cars). Those with ending numbers represented by English letters will be treated as ending in "0" for management purposes. Motor vehicles from other provincial-level administrative divisions in China shall also follow the above rules from 9:00 to 17:00 on work days.
