Beijing will implement new traffic restrictions based on even- and odd-numbered license plates from April 1, 2024 to March 30, 2025.

From April 1 to June 30, 2024 

Monday: 5 and 0

Tuesday: 1 and 6

Wednesday: 2 and 7

Thursday: 3 and 8

Friday: 4 and 9

From July 1 to September 29, 2024

Monday: 4 and 9

Tuesday: 5 and 0

Wednesday: 1 and 6

Thursday: 2 and 7

Friday: 3 and 8

From September 30 to December 29, 2024

Monday: 3 and 8

Tuesday: 4 and 9

Wednesday: 5 and 0

Thursday: 1 and 6

Friday: 2 and 7

From December 30, 2024 to March 30, 2025

Monday: 2 and 7

Tuesday: 3 and 8

Wednesday: 4 and 9

Thursday: 5 and 0

Friday: 1 and 6

The restrictions will be imposed on all vehicles (including those with temporary license plates; except for EV cars). Those with ending numbers represented by English letters will be treated as ending in "0" for management purposes. 

The relevant rules of Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, and Beijing Traffic Management Bureau shall apply to motor vehicles from other provincial-level administrative divisions in China.
