A divorce registration certificate will be reissued only if all of the following requirements are met:

1. The case is under the jurisdiction of the responsible marriage registration offices;

2. The parties have legally registered for divorce and currently remain divorced;

3. The parties shall hold valid identity documents (servicemen shall also hold documents for marriage registration for military personnel);

4. For the reissuance of a divorce registration certificate, two recent photos (2-inch, half-body and bareheaded; the two photos should be the same) are needed from each party;

5. The original marriage registration certificate shall be provided in the case where the marriage registration certificate has been damaged or the information on identity documents has been changed;

6. The parties shall submit a duplicate of the marriage registration document, which shall be affixed with a special seal for archive retrieval;

7. The parties shall be present in person and fill out the Declaration of Application for Reissuance of Marriage Registration Certificate at the marriage registration office in charge;

8. The parties shall hold the supporting document for divorce registration.
