The Beijing Forest Festival 2026 will be launched on May 29 and continue for 10 days until June 7!
This music celebration will comprise six major categories, namely commercial performances, "super-live spots", artistic activities for the opening ceremony of the film exhibition, a creative fair, camping, and special interactive installations. Notably, a 3,000-square-meter fair zone and a 5,700-square-meter camping and leisure area will be set up, allowing visitors to relax themselves in a natural and artistic setting.
During the festival, there will be six featured concerts, including an outdoor concert by Camerata RCO, a world-famous symphony orchestra; GALA, a classic musical which integrates Chinese and foreign masterpieces, and a symphony concert centered on BBC's documentary series "Planet Earth Ⅲ" and performed by the China Film Symphony Orchestra. These include different genres varying from classical and folk to musical and pop.
In addition, over 80 supporting sub-events will also be held during the festival. Visitors can enjoy outdoor performances, performances in special settings, dozens of art parades and over 30 workshops. A creative art fair will also be in place, featuring coffee, meals, creative products including handicrafts, outdoor brands, and more, offering visitors an immersive experience in the world of art.
