The largest demonstration zone in Beijing for "human-pet harmonious coexistence" will soon be officially established in Qiantuan Village, Lucheng Town, Tongzhou District. The project covers a total planned area of over 500 mu (approximately 330,000 square meters), with an initial investment of 10 million yuan for the first phase. It aims to create a comprehensive demonstration park integrating the pet economy, pet industry innovation, and rural cultural tourism.
Development of the demonstration zone is progressing steadily. Construction of the first-phase core area is expected to begin this year.

Pet Paradise with Three-Themed Areas

The demonstration zone has been tentatively named "Chaobai Riverside Pet Paradise". Located adjacent to the Chaobai River ecological corridor and the planned area of the Chaobai River National Forest Park, the site holds the dual advantage of ecological resources and convenient transportation access.
The first-phase core area of the demonstration zone is planned to cover approximately 200 mu (around 130,000 square meters). It will focus on developing nine main features: pet resort areas, pet socialization spaces, pet training, cat lounges, senior companionship programs, human-pet interactive zones, pet markets, commercial amenities, and dining and rest areas. The Pet Paradise will include three themed zones— two for furry friends like dogs and cats, and one for birds. Regular markets, competitions, and social activities will also be held.
Meanwhile, in response to the needs of an aging society, the demonstration zone has specifically planned a "senior companionship" segment to explore the positive role pets can play in providing emotional comfort for the elderly.
An Innovative Platform Empowering Pet Economy

The functional area planned for the second phase of the demonstration zone will further expand the pet industry landscape, featuring an exotic pet park, pet breeding programs, competitions of skill, and more. This will create a full industry chain covering pet breeding, rearing, training, medical care, and end-of-life services.
The demonstration zone will also serve as a platform for innovation and research in the pet industry, promoting the commercialization of new pet product designs, incubating cross-border e-commerce enterprises in the pet sector, and supporting school-enterprise cooperation, international study programs, and industry innovation initiatives.
