Held inside Dacheng Hall of the historic building complex of the Lighthouse Pagoda (Randeng Ta), the Grand Canal Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition features a selection of representative creative products inspired by the intangible cultural heritage items from the regions along the Grand Canal, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, offering a modern interpretation of the canal-based traditions.

Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the "Grand Canal Ballad" light show links five landmarks (Daguang Building, the Lighthouse Pagoda, the Canal Business District buildings, the Canal Pillar, and the Water Tower) to allow everyone to marvel at the charm of the illuminated Grand Canal in an immersive fashion.

Audiences are also treated to Twelfth Night, a classic comedy of Shakespeare, rendered by the National Centre for the Performing Arts, as well as traditional Chinese folk performances like kuaiban (a traditional Chinese performing art) and crosstalk by the Beijing Traditional Folk Arts Troupe .
