A next-generation marine project, the Beijing Haichang Ocean Park, is under construction in the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center.

This large, modern indoor oceanarium is expected to be completed in 2027 and will open in the same year. The building's overall design resembles a giant ocean liner, with its streamlined facade evoking the image of a massive vessel sailing through waves.

The oceanarium will have over 20 attractions across eight themed zones. Among these, the Whale and Dolphin Theater is a large-scale modern theater with 5,000 seats, making it one of the largest of its kind in China. Following the oceanarium's opening, it will host water curtain performances, music and dance shows, interactive parades, aerial shows and more.

The Happy Theater will have 2,200 seats and will host various shows, such as the entertaining and interactive performances with marine creatures such as dolphins, walruses, and sea lions, as well as comedic shows by clowns.

In addition, the park will be equipped with China's tallest glass for seawater tanks and the country's largest seawater tank by volume. Its design incorporates innovative experiences such as underwater guest rooms, an ocean-view restaurant, and interactive feeding activities. The hotel will predominantly feature family rooms. The 230 ocean and Ultraman-themed parent-child guest rooms, an all-day restaurant, a banqueting hall, and an Ultraman-themed independent breakfast lounge make it an ideal option for family vacations and outings.
