Dingdian Park and Haichang Ocean Park, two large themed parks, are slated for opening in the vicinity of Universal Beijing Resort.
Located between Wansheng Xi (W) Station and Wansheng Dong (E) Station along Subway Line 7, Dingdian Park is expected to open in 2026 and will become the largest indoor children's theme park in Asia.
The atrium in its north area will house Asia's largest indoor dynamic pedestrian street, enhanced with amazing lighting and a giant ceiling screen. At the southeast corner of the outdoor office building, a giant naked-eye 3D screen will be installed to enhance the experience and visual impact greatly. Globally renowned copyrighted entertainment brands like Hasbro, Peppa Pig, WildBrain, Crayola, and Mattel will establish their presence in this park, with their stores to be located on both sides of the aforementioned street. A themed hotel with several copyrighted elements will occupy the west wing, which will offer a variety of immersive accommodation and entertainment options.

Haichang Ocean Park will be located to the south of the Gaoloujin subway station, near the WaterWorld of Universal Studios Beijing. This large modern indoor oceanarium is expected to open in 2027, making it the only large-scale marine-themed park to be built in Beijing since the new millennium.
The oceanarium's overall structure will resemble a giant ship, with sleek LED screens and curtain walls depicting fish, all intended to create an ocean-like ambiance. Over 20 main displays inside will be distributed across eight themed zones.
This oceanarium will integrate a variety of functions, including ecology, science popularization, study tours, interactive experiences, performances, art, and a themed hotel. Several immersive business formats have been envisioned, including underwater guest rooms, an ocean-themed restaurant, and interactive feeding experiences.
Stay updated on the debut of these two themed parks.
