On June 8, the newly built reading space of the National Library officially opened to the public. Located on the second floor of the North Section, the space consists of two parts: the immersive reading experience area and the NL study area. By using advanced technologies such as the 5th generation communication technology, panoramic video, VR, etc., the reading area builds two immersive exhibitions, namely "Panoramic Exhibition Hall" and "Reading Tree", offering unique user experience and scenarios compared to the traditional reading mode.

A study room is also well-built to recommend excellent books for readers in the long term. Readers can not only make friends and visit micro-exhibitions of excellent books there, but also appreciate themed cultural and creative products featuring Chinese traditional classic books.
