In early May, nearly 10,000 peony flowers of over 200 species begin to blossom at the Beijing Botanical Garden, attracting flocks of visitors. 

As a popular place to enjoy peony flowers in Beijing, the garden boasts a good variety of peony flowers that take on different shapes and colors. Apart from Chinese herbaceous peony flowers, it also features plenty of European and Japanese peony flowers.
