After a long cold winter night, villagers living along the banks of Tanghe River in north Huairou District waked up dazzled to see crystal-clear snow flowers on the river in shapes of feather and flakes.

The ice flowers are naturally and randomly formed ice crystals on the surface of frozen rivers due to low temperature.

Tanghe is a long river that passes the Changshaoying Manchu Ethnicity Township, northern part of Huairou District in Beijing where the temperature hit minus 18 degrees Celsius on the morning of December 9, 2020.
