INDIGO, an urban shopping landmark in Beijing's Chaoyang District, has officially been renamed "Taikoo Place Beijing", marking the first such complex of the "Taikoo Place" brand in the Chinese mainland. In the meantime, the existing INDIGO complex and the Phase II expansion project have both been incorporated into the "Taikoo Place" brand. The new complex is expected to support local business growth and consumer spending while promoting the integrated development of culture, commerce and tourism.

Once complete, Taikoo Place Beijing will have a gross floor area of more than 860,000 square meters. Located along the Bahe River, the complex will bring together eight Grade-A office buildings, a premium shopping mall, a new lifestyle hotel, the "Delphi" social wellness space, the "ArtisTree" arts venue, and natural landscapes. The complex will offer a combination of office, retail, leisure, cultural and wellness facilities. Climate-controlled overhead walkways, underground passages and riverside walkways will connect its different areas, while an open landscape design will link the buildings seamlessly with the waterfront to create a distinctive "urban oasis".

Following the expansion, the retail space will total 150,000 square meters across three interconnected areas: the eastern, central and western areas. Around 400 leading brands will be introduced, with an emphasis on experiential retail, distinctive dining and diverse lifestyle offerings. The office spaces will feature differentiated designs and high-quality finishes to meet the needs of innovative companies and major corporate headquarters.

The complex will have direct access to Subway Line 14 and benefit from convenient connections to the airport expressways, urban ring roads, Beijing's two airports and the CBD, ensuring convenient access for business visitors and shoppers.

To mark the rebranding, Taikoo Place Beijing has launched its first public arts and cultural event, "The Flow of Art", inspired by the Bahe River and the surrounding waterfront. Following the opening of ArtisTree, its dedicated arts venue, the complex will host regular exhibitions, performances and creative salons, bringing arts and culture into everyday work and shopping experiences. It is expected to serve as a vibrant space for artistic experiences, cultural exchanges and community engagement.
