Effective today (August 20, 2026), citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam are eligible for China's 240-hour visa-free transit policy and the 30-day visa-free entry policy offered by Hainan Province. With the inclusion of these two countries, the 240-hour visa-free transit policy now applies to citizens of 57 countries, while the 30-day visa-free entry policy for Hainan covers citizens of 61 countries.
