The Huairou round of the 2026 China Rally Championship (CRC) will take place from August 28 to 30. The course, once a location for the World Rally Championship (WRC), is an iconic one that has witnessed the growth of rally racing in China. This year, top drivers from across China will return to Huairou for a thrilling competition accompanied by a range of new activities highlighting professional excellence, public participation and industrial synergy.
As one of the CRC's most celebrated classic rounds, the Huairou round has attracted considerable attention. The public viewing areas will be open from August 26 to 28, while the main competition will begin on August 28 with two key components: the circuit event at Ruisi Racing Circuit (锐思赛车场) in Yangsong Town and the main rally on designated mountain stages.

This year's program goes beyond conventional fuel-powered rallying and will bring in races for electric vehicles for the first time. Specifically, a "mini challenge" for electric vehicles will be held on the same special course used by the CRC, and will be open to the public contestants. Each contestant can register with an eligible vehicle and put its performance to the test on a professional course.
A five-day CRC Sound Festival will also be held on the lawn west of CFGC Grand Hotel from August 26 to 30. Besides live music performances of different genres, including pop, rock and electronica, there will be daily Harley-Davidson motorcycle parades, free racing simulators, and a lively market featuring specialty food, race-themed creative cultural merchandise and local products.

As part of the cultural and sporting activities held in conjunction with the competition, Baoshan Town in Huairou District—home to one of this year's key rally stages—will host a crossover event featuring both the 2026 Baoshan Town Rice Field Music Festival (2026年宝山镇稻田音乐节) and the CRC from August 29 to 30. Live music, markets and rally racing will come together to offer visitors a fresh and exciting experience.
