The 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games will take place at the National Speed Skating Oval from August 22 to 26. Tickets for the games are now on sale via official platforms, including the "Chaopiao Saiyan" (巢票赛演) WeChat mini-program and Damai (大麦). Ticket prices range from 98 to 670 yuan.

The games have been comprehensively upgraded across four dimensions: event scale, competition mechanisms, technological evaluation, and real-world applications. Featuring two major categories, namely "Competition Events" and "Scenario-based Events", the games will consist of a wide range of competitions, including autonomous racing, strength challenges, traditional Chinese martial arts, trendy dance performances, real-world tasks, and precision operations. Besides showcasing technological advances in an immersive way, this year's games will also provide an international platform for exchanges in sci-tech innovation.

The competition lineup this year includes both classic events (such as freestyle combat) and four newly added head-to-head challenges (weightlifting, tug-of-war, pitch-pot, and table tennis). The table tennis competition will test robots' millisecond-level hand-eye coordination, with robots independently predicting moves, adjusting positions, and swinging paddles, making rallies filled with suspense. Weightlifting and tug-of-war will provide a clear demonstration of robots' load-bearing capacity and stability control.

In the pair dance competitions, robot partners will perform waltz or samba routines, recreating smooth dance movements and rhythms. In the street dance events, such as those of breakdancing and hip-hop, robots will precisely follow the beat and move on cue. Tai Chi and traditional freestyle martial arts competitions will recreate classic moves, blending the aesthetics of traditional intangible cultural heritage with cutting-edge intelligent technology on stage.

On the football field, robots will demonstrate a full range of skills, including accurate passing, shielding, interception, and shooting. With fast-paced offense and defense as well as frequent game-changing moments, the matches promise to deliver plenty of excitement.
