From August 11 through the end of next week, under the influence of the remnants of Typhoon Dolphin, Beijing may experience several rounds of relatively heavy rainfall, with precipitation expected to intensify gradually. Rainfall on August 11 will be heavier than in the previous days, and from August 12 onward, precipitation is expected to increase further, potentially having a significant impact on transportation and travel.

With heavy rainfall occurring on top of previous precipitation, mountainous and hilly‌ areas face an increased risk of geological hazards, including flash floods, landslides, rockfalls, and debris flows. Residents are advised to avoid visiting mountainous areas, river channels, and areas with known geological hazard risks whenever possible. As the track and intensity of Typhoon Dolphin remain uncertain, the distribution and intensity of future rainfall may change. Temperatures will also fluctuate significantly. Meanwhile, humidity levels will increase substantially, and the combination of high temperatures and high humidity will create hot and muggy conditions. Starting on August 13, temperatures are expected to drop significantly, with daytime highs falling below 30℃. The muggy conditions will ease considerably, bringing cooler and more comfortable weather overall.
