CIFTIS 2026 On Its Way: Check out Latest Updates —

The China International Fair for Trade in Services 2026 (CIFTIS 2026) will be held at Shougang Park from September 9 to 13. As disclosed, 41 forums and meetings have been confirmed so far, including 10 of the Opening-up and Integration (开放融合) segment, 13 of the Win-win Cooperation (合作共赢) segment, 10 of the Digital and Intelligent Innovation (数智创新) segment, and eight of the Green Development (绿色发展) segment, covering various areas of trade in services, such as digital trade, financial services, sports services, and healthcare.

A total of 31 institutions have applied to release 44 new products and other achievements. Institutions including the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding at Peking University plan to unveil four outcomes, such as the China Urban Science and Technology Innovation Development Report and the 2026 APEC Smart City Ranking. The Development Research Center of the State Council, the China Association of Trade in Services, and other institutions will also release their own publications, including the China Trade in Services Development Report and the Digital Trade: Development and Cooperation.

Representatives from other countries and regions are being invited to showcase their development policies and cooperation projects at this year's CIFTIS. Business associations, enterprises and other relevant organizations from around the world are also welcome to partake in project matchmaking and other activities. The number of the first batch of announced negotiation and promotion sessions is 33, comprising 16 country-specific sessions, six sessions for the provincial-level administrative divisions in China, and 11 industry-specific sessions.

In addition, 23 supporting events have been confirmed so far, covering science and innovation exhibitions such as sci-tech innovation contests, shopping markets including the China International Candy Season, sports events including a 3x3 basketball open and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Triathlon, cultural performances including acrobatics and symphony concerts, and interactive experiences such as a handicraft festival for different ethnic groups.
