At around 13:00 on June 13, Air China flight CA749 took off from the Beijing Daxing International Airport, marking the official launch of the direct round-trip route between the Daxing Airport and Milan. This is the first regular direct route to Italy from the Daxing Airport.

The route, operating under flight numbers CA749/750, runs once daily. The outbound flight departs from the Daxing Airport at 13:00 and lands in Milan at 18:00 (local time). The return flight leaves Milan at 20:00 (local time) and arrives at the Daxing Airport at 12:10 the following day (subject to operational adjustments). Passengers can purchase tickets and find more details about the flight through Air China's official website, app, Alipay and WeChat mini-programs, direct ticket offices, and customer service hotline (95583).

The new route significantly reduces travel time and lowers travel costs. The Daxing Airport and Air China have jointly launched an international through-check-in service, allowing passengers holding Air China's through-tickets to Milan to complete check-in and baggage drop-off in one go at their departure airport, eliminating the need for re-checking baggage during their layovers at the Daxing Airport. Currently, multiple Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, and Hong Kong, all offer layover passengers this "one-stop check-in" service, ensuring a hassle-free transit experience.

To date, the Daxing Airport connects to more than 40 international and regional destinations, including popular cities such as Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, London, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Frankfurt, and Istanbul. New direct routes to Lisbon, Bali, and other destinations will be launched in the near future, providing travelers with even more options.
